If you are seeing the message 'Revise failed : Auth token is hard expired, User needs to generate a new token for this application'

  1. Login to your MyEditor account
  2. Click on 'Get Started' (located bottom right corner)
  3. Click the orange burger menu (top left corner)
  4. Click on the 'Key' icon
  5. Click 'Generate or Renew your eBay Token'
  6. Click on the blue 'Renew' button
  7. This will log you into eBay to renew your token and grant our application 'MyEditor' to access to your store.

Once you have done so you'll be able to revise items back to eBay.

It is important to note that this message appears for one of 4 reasons:

  1. Your account has been flagged by eBay for unusual activity (someone may have tried to access your account etc)
  2. You have changed your eBay login details such as password and / or username
  3. Our token (authorised connection key) between MyEditor and eBay has been revoked.
  4. Rare but has happened in the past - eBay has found an issue with its API requiring all recently generated token to be renewed
